Think my step dad has something against me being a cadet... Jun 19 2013, 03:48 PM
So a few months ago my parents started sending my bro to the ACF (for those who don't know it stands for army cadet force) and my step dad would drive him there and back every week. Then I joined a few months later (more like dragged there by my bro) and after the first week my step dad seemed to have a problem with me going to cadets. He started to refuse to take me and my bro there and started making some really mean comments when I got my uniform. He never did or said any of this stuff to my bro, just me. And he even told me that I can't go on the weekend trips because I would lose my job (I work for him at his salon, sweeping up hair) and I really want to keep it because it at least gets me some money of my own. As usual I don't really know what to do in this situation…

You should ask him, why he doesn't want you going into the cadet force, if he doesn't say why then keep digging him for info :P x

ask him? but then you know parents are not made of money so it could be a money problem.... plus i know from other people its upsetting sometimes.

Yeah I'll just ask him. He has to give me a reason why he has something against me being in the cadets. Oh and fifi, it's got nothing to do with money xD me and my bro pay for the cadets ourselves. And what's upsetting?
