About Me
They say that when life gives you lemons, you should make lemonade. But what if you don't have a juicer? You'd have to squeeze it yourself, and that's a pain, and then it'd get in your eye... So, I've come to a conclusion. When life gives you lemons, throw them at people!
So, my name's Roxanne, but no-one calls me that! Normally just "Roxi" or some nickname, but there's always some witty, inventive person that thinks calling me "emo whore", "emo scum" or any other insult with the word "emo" rammed in front of it, is somehow damaging to me.
I live in Halstead, in Essex, which is a rather boring place to live, and there is far too many chavs hovering around all the time.
But anyway, this isn't a rant, so... moving on.
I write alot. I'm currently writing a piece of fiction, which I occasionally work on in my spare time, while I still have any before starting at the 6th form college in Colchester.
I draw alot too. There is a few examples of my work on my pics, feel free to take a look, and let me know what you think. Positive or negative feedbeck is much appreciated.
What's been happening with me lately...
Well, anyone that read my former profile will know I have issues with depression (which, at the time, hadn't been diagnosed) and self harm..
Since then, I've been to the doctors for various other ailments, and the depression has been... noticed.
Currently making appointments to see a psychologist... To begin with, this had me a little worried, about the psychologist in general, and also people's reactions to this, but, why should I worry?
As for the cutting... that's improved too, and the problem is slowly clearing itself up.
Also have insomnia, not too much of a problem, but sometimes it is a little annoying! XD
So, yeah... I've got a few problems, but so does everyone else, so I try not to dwell too much.
I've made some great friends on the site, Nathan (Fatalx), you showed me "To Write Love On Her Arms", and I thank you for the help, advice and general conversation that you've given me since I joined, and thanks for always listening. "Nightmarish Insomniac Buddies!" XD
Matt (shepardosdemon), you're also a great listener, you make me smile when I am down, and no matter how bad a problem may be, you always stick by me until I feel better.
And of course, Tantra (Tantra_B ..obviously)! To begin with, we didn't really talk that much, but after storming the forums (on and off topic) we've spoken alot more, and I'm really glad we have! I'm sure a great many people have seen THOSE forum posts! You are amazingly good at making me laugh, and I know I can trust you with anything.
Nathan, Matt and Tantra are the main three that really stand out for me. I LOVE YOU GUYS!! XD xx

... College is sooo different from High school, it's a refreshing change :) Going quite well at the moment (will change soon enough, I'm getting behind on some of my photography work already!! XD)
Agh... dropped Psychology. Was forced to take Key Skills IT, even though I have an IT qualification already :/
Also, now I have to take Citizenship. That's a laugh. We're currently "studying" stereotypes in society and the media :P
