About Me

I am a graduate student at the university of brighton and i am a fan of a lot of emo bands. I am also writing my dissertation on emo and how it relates to gender relations.

Favourite Music

i really dig a lot of different stuff, like PJ Harvey, MCR, Panic, and Tori Amos, I was an original Riot Grrrl back in the day so my music loves include babes in toyland, bratmobile and bikini kill among others.And of course I cant forget The Smiths.

Favourite Films / TV / Books

Empire Records will probably always top my list alongside High Fidelity. The Bell Jar and Minor Characters.

Education / Occupation

I work in a shop while I am doing my Masters degree, but I have a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Womens Studies.

Who I'd Like To Meet

probably Guillermo Del Toro his makeup artists are some of the best out there i would just love to watch him create with them.
