Most probably a band that isn't really very emo or is it...anyway you know who I mean MCR. If not one of them indie-emo bands I cannot think of right now. Screamo bands don't seem to be that over-hyped in the UK though.

have to agree with matt, MCR first band i thought of when i read this, prob say Aiden are quite hyped up too

Yeah.. I immediately thought of MCR when I saw this topic. Emo bands aren't really that over-hyped usually, or not in the UK at least.

I think MCR are amazing... but the Black Parade album is overhyped... I've heard it too many times. Too many. Most over-hyped, in my opinion, Bring Me The Horizon. Everyone just likes Oli. (Please direct all hate mail to my profile. Thankyou [: )

Ehehe (: That's the thing... everyone just thinks 'Oli Sykes' whenever anyone says BMTH. I probably would like them if I listened to them more, but all the wannabes at my school listen to them and they're like 'ZOMG I LUV BMTH cuz I'm so, like, emo innit! And Oli is so fit!' It sickens me.

ugh that sucks, theres quite a few 'posers' out there, i like BMTH but carnt honestly say ive ever looked at a picture of them, its silly how some girls are only into bands sometimes because the guys are 'hot' in them

Tell me about it :P I thought going to gigs was about the music and bringing people together? It's just ridiculous how so much attention goes to the 'hotter' people in the band...GRRR! I'm seeing Youmeatsix with Tonight Is Goodbye and Attack Attack supporting. Just my luck, I can imagine all the young fan-girls screaming now. Ugh :P

haha yeh it sucks when your at gigs and all these kids both girls and guys push their way to the front and scream in your ear grrrr have you been to the gig yet? any good?

Well it's no difference from April really. And well they're all pretty light to be honest :P I'd like to at least to go to one heavy gig this summer :(

Well I saw Elliot Minor twice, and Youmeatsix. Couldn't make it to PATD but ah well. I want to see I Am Ghost though, they're good. Maybe even Simple Plan. Just seems not many proper decent screamo bands are touring lately. Maybe I'm just 'out of the know' or something. I don't know, but would be good :]
