Which do you prefer? Light emo songs or heavy screamo songs?

Depending on my mood, but generally the heavier ones. Some bands pull off a good mixture of heavy and light too.

It's the same for me. When I'm more PO'd I tend to listen to the more heavier stuff but I go through phases I suppose. In to lighter stuff at the moment. (must be the weather!)

yeh it depends on my mood too, i like bands that do a mixture of both, duno if i could decide between the two lol

I don't agree with either of you too. A brutal screamy song can have as much emotion as a light song.

Hmm yeah, I've heard a few with great lyrics, etc. But it's hard to feel the emotion if you're screaming along, head-banging with it. Well that's what I think. xD

Depends on my mood aswell, the heavier music I love but head banging is something I just can't do along with it, shocking I know =P. Usually I try but after around 4 bangs I whine and go 'Ow my head!' (my mate's find it amusing when I do) and stop from there so I find solice in lighter songs =]

Gah why don't you just both do it at the same time? :P And yeah I know what you mean. Bloody hurts your neck/head if you do it more than 4/5 times.

totally I could headbang to A Heavy Emo Music cuz it shows more emotions than light one cuz the light have that something ballad melody so Heavy Rocked Out
