Exercising improves your mood Oct 19 2011, 03:45 PM
If you didn't already know this is a proven fact, so if you get down try and exercise. Go for a run, do some situps, pressups, etc. As well as lifting your mood and making you feel better about yourself, it is also good for your health of course! :)

a couple of years ago my psychologist person told me that same thing so made extra effort got shorts on so as to look the part, harnessed up the dog, grabbed bottle of water (again gotta look the part) walked to nearby country path and tried to jog pulling dog. 5 mins in dog sees other dog and goes sideways pulling me off course. I go **** over elbow and land in rather fresh pile of dog muck. Have lost hold of lead so have to chase dog quite a long way and then heavens opened, aabsolute mental ammount of rain, soaked to skin but only lasted minutes so headed home soaked and covered in dog muck , just as I got to end of our street random man asks if I have had a good run and he seems bewidered when I tell him to go and f*** himself. Moral of story sometimes exercise can make you more depressed

lmfao cool sotry bro :3 jkjk I actually did know that, it releases endorphins and makes you calmer... Did you know that sperm naturally improves a girls mood too??

wow ohsolo that really sucks! :/ but, yeah i usually do yoga when i am feeling down...i think its a way better approach to relax :)

I'm trying to lose weight so I don't think there's a time in the day when I'm not exercising:3 I go for a run which is about a mile after I wake up, before that I do some warm-ups & some yoga. Then afterwards I do some more yoga. Then in the afternoon I go for another run & come back and do half an hour of meditating then about 6PM I go for another run n_n Which methods do you guys find more effective, like more stress relieving? n_n

^You're gorgeous as you are, Georgie! :3 I think sit-ups are the easiest. They're also good for a person's stomach. Running keeps your legs toned. And walking keeps your butt in shape. Push-ups for arms. Toe-touches for flexibility. <--feels really sorry for ohsolo D: That sucks. But you did get extra exercise in :D

Well there is no doubt that exercise can improve your mood, but only if you do it in moderation. When I have my Army physical fitness tests I feel drained and exhausted afterwards. But if I do my own work outs at a pace of my choice I feel great and definitely more positive. Guess I'm trying to say that not all forms of exercise can put you in a good mood.

When I get mad I walk through the woods on my property and pretend I'm a hunter looking for rare plants/animals its so much fun ^•^
