EMO GROUP MEET - Summer 2012 in the UK Mar 19 2012, 03:46 PM

*UPDATE* - the confirmed date is 18th August Ok I have been going on about another emo meet this year for a while and promised to post a forum topic so here you go!! Firstly, if you didn't already know we had an emo meet last summer in London, UK. Read all about it! It's a while away yet, but we need to gather interest and plan things together so another emo meet actually happens this summer :) I propose it's in Central London again and on one of the Saturdays in August (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th). I do realise the Olympic games are on so the 4th and 11th might not be the best idea. That's all for now please discuss locations you want it to happen, dates and well if you can attend! I would LOVE to come, though still not sure its gonna happen. This year I'm 18 so theoretically my parents shouldn't be able to stop me, but considering my mother's already threatened to throw me out if I get my belly button pierced or a tattoo, I'll have to be careful. I may have to bring someone with me in order to get away with it xD So I'll be a maybe :)

If there is enough firm interest it will happen. Tell all your friends people :D Oh and will be 18th or 25th. The earlier dates are a major no-go with the Olympics.

With those two dates, it's a no-go for me, I'm afraid. New college term starts on the 22nd of August, and they have course introductions prior to that as well.

18th or 25th August meeting in Regents Park near Camden. As mentioned I will get a PM out to everyone interested and others local to the area. Once the date is definitely confirmed it will be noted here. I can do both so it just depends what everyone else can do?
