Self Harmer At Rest May 05 2014, 01:47 PM

I remember the days, when I couldn't stand to look in a mirror, and everything was bland. I picked up a blade, I stared for awhile, and it's frightening, to know all I did was smile. I hurt my arm, I made sure no one would see, that every word, was hurting me. I got caught after awhile, and I bowed my head in shame, to know 'attention whore', was now my name. I switched to my thighs, and though I am young, I ignored the pain, that truly stung. Eventually I found the internet, I found music and Life, And I made a friend, who convinced me to put down the knife. I promised I would, never do it again, I lied and cut, till I wanted it all to end. I was ready to attempt, I promised no one could save me this time, but he returned to me, and convinced me other wise. After awhile, my friends, the ones over the internet, made me throw the blades away, and I was happy they were who I met. I don't know them for real, but I can tell you one thing, they saved my life, and I tried to get back on the swing. I know I broke down, and I've tried my best, And now they know, I'm A Self Harmer At Rest
