Don't want this to come across as nasty or anything BUT eye liner sure makes some girls look so much better. Not that they're that scary without it of course =P

Yeah they become real rebels coloring their hair with different stripes, wearing some torn fish nets with spikes like they are some sort of train wreck, styling dark eyeliners as if someone punched them, then proceed to wear obnoxious contact leans to make them look "Unique" Ironically spewing "none conformism group" as if saying "Fuck Society" even though it is the same coin, just the other side. I know, not really a popular opinion, and I am not expecting a cool sticker from them for saying this, but that is just my two cents on the issue. Insecure? I think so. But yeah, what you said, it certainly does.

I love eyeliner. I usually just put some on my waterline. Liquid eyeliner is so hard to master using though. It's annoying.
