Do your parents agree with the "emo culture"? Oct 26 2015, 06:17 PM

So, I've pretty much put together that my parents dont really agree with it. They say that 'they' look weird. They dont like the hair styles, or the fact that they wear all black.. Even though not all do. To be honest, they only just agree with gays/lesbians ._. That's one of my pet hates.. Hate against LGBT (?). I can only just about persuade my mother to buy me a pair of black skinny jeans without her thinking I've gone wrong in the head >.< So, does anyone else's parents disagree with the 'emo culture'?

my parents dont know I'm emo or scene yet, they judge my clothes pretty often tho and don't like my color taste, they know I like black and they're okay with it ig, my mom says it's bc im depressed, they dk abt emo, my dad says that black is gonna make me too warm, and they don't like it when I wear tights cuz it's gonna make me "cold". when I told my mom I want a studded belt she said its for hippies and stuff, so yea. they won't let me dye or str8en my hair, get piercings/tattoos, wear makeup, etc but it's not because I'm 2 young, well is one of the reasons but they're strict and my dad believe s in his Islam shi so yea  I'm forcedly a Muslim but I don't believe in shi, I'ma just be myself >_<
