Do you think someone should be allowed to wear a cape to school? Oct 25 2016, 02:23 PM
Don't ask.

Is this a question that randomly popped into your head after watching Young Dracula? Lol. I don't agree with uniforms anyway so yeah, if a kid honestly wanted to wear a cape to school then there shouldn't be a rule against it

No. XD I wore a cape to a school with uniforms, and was basically told I couldn't wear it in class, that it was inappropriate, and to never bring it back. Me and my mum don't understand why, so even if I said I won't wear it back, I may just go against that. Then again, our new head teacher is... questionable.

If there's a uniform, I doubt they'd ever allow you to wear a cape :/ (coming from someone who got kicked out of sixth form for apparently disrespecting their dress code among other rules)

thank god i go to a public school. We're allowed to wear anything as long as it does not go against the dress code. So we're allowed to wear capes.

I go to a public school, but like, I'm not allowed to wear one? For what reason? I was actually told never to take it back in, and my mum actually disagrees with the rule.

Yes! If it isn’t a danger to you or someone else, then you should be allowed.

I mean I don’t really see a problem with it. You can wear whatever you want honestly. As long as you feel comfortable in your own clothing, ya know?

Not unless it's a designated dress up day. It's not appropriate for general wear and in some cases, can be a major safety hazard.
