Continued Education in Illinois

Students have plenty of options if they want to further their education in Illinois. There are more than 70 colleges and universities in the state. You can choose to study mla paper format for a degree at one of many fine universities. You biggest problem will be choosing which school to attend.

The University of Chicago
The University of Chicago has an outstanding international reputation with many influential graduates in the areas of economics and politics. It is highly selective. Some of the schools here include Booth School of Business, Law School, and Divinity School. Student research is important. You will find more than 140 research centers and institutes in many disciplines.

Northwestern University
Located in Evanston, Northwestern offers students the option to study for certificate or diploma programs. This is in addition to a number of degree programs. Tuition for both undergraduates and postgraduates is approximately $20,000 annually. In addition to academics, this school offers a rich campus life. Students enjoy athletics, arts and much more, helping to round out their educations.

University of Illinois
Pulitzer and Nobel Prize winners have graduated from this university. The Urbana-Champaign campus offers a wide range of studies. You can choose from such areas as the College of Engineering, the College of Law, the College of Fine and Applied Arts, and many others. The athletics department is second to none. Students enjoy a variety of varsity sports, as well as wheelchair athletics and adapted sports.


DePaul University
This Chicago university offers both undergraduate and graduate studies. Some of the colleges and schools here include the Driehaus College of Business, the College of Communication, and the College of Education. Many disciplines offer students the opportunity to take part in valuable research groups. Student life is very active here. In addition to having access to an amazing education, they get to enjoy life, both on and off-campus in Chicago.

Loyola University
Students who want to study in an atmosphere that fits in with their religious beliefs will enjoy attending this Jesuit Catholic university. This university was originally named St. Ignatius College. The Chicago campus offers a wide variety of learning opportunities, including religious studies. Some of the programs offered here include History, International Studies, and Computer Science. The peaceful lakeshore setting provides students with a relaxing place to study and learn.

Illinois Institute of Technology

Western Illinois University
Enjoy studying in a quiet atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This university is in a beautiful rural setting. Students can enjoy learning in a peaceful atmosphere, which for some is much better than the chaos of a city campus. Doctoral degrees are available to students studying in the arts and humanities. Online courses and distance learning is available.
