Don't tell me how to dress

Don't tell me how to act

Don't tell me what to listen to

Don't tell me what to say

Don't tell me how disappointed you are

Don't tell me how you were when you were my age

Don't tell me what you did and did not do

Don't tell me you don't understand why I do this

Don't tell me what will happen if I don't change

Don't tell me I can't do what I want

Don't tell me how to live my life

Don't tell me I can't be what I want to be

Don't tell me I have to change

I'm tired of being told what not to do now it's my turn to tell you!
