i think thts what im trying now but now i have people mad at me cuz my jacket slid down and they saw my wrist and then slapped my wrist and yeah pretty sure she doesnt care i dunno how many times my brother has brought the subject up to my mom and she was just like w.e its just a stage she is going thru

Anyone that self harms because they think it's cool or to fit in is stupid! Don't you think? I know for sure there are people like that on other similar sites..

yes and i know several from school, most of the cutters from school are posers there are few with actual reasons to cut its not even funny i cant stand doing it anymore cuz anytime i look at my arm ive cried but i still cant stop... but i have to b4 summer :/

lol like i said ive been doing self harm since third grade its actually not tht hard cuz it can b worse than a drug and bcuz ill b at my dads house and im not allowed to wear a jacket all the time there

I think if you suffer from an adiction (like harming yourself), the best thing you can do is search for profesional help, rather than try to search advice in public forums like this. excuse my poor English xD

True, but forums like this provide personal experiences and most likely direct others to the best sources of professional help. Therefore I say both are worthwhile.

lol i talked to my school counsler today about my depression and self mutilation habits because im kind of going backwards once again... oh and my anxeity issues she basically told me to try the whole rubberband thing once again...lol out of all the times that i've talked to her about my home issues w/ some how self mutilation gets brought up but this is the first time we really discussed it

i used to cut alot, 28 of the 50 scars on my body are from cutting. right now i'v been clean for a month.

yea theres been many times where i almost broke down and started but i was able to get enough strength to fight back, my way of stopping was when i came across my mind to do it i either go outside and play with my dog or sit down and write or draw to get it off my mind.
