Oppertunity to visit Europe Sep 06 2010, 12:52 PM
So I got this letter in the mail on the 2nd saying that I have a wonderful oppertunity to visit England, France, Germany, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Switzerland next summer because of my PSAT scores. My Step-dad actually went to Australia when he was in high school with this same program and he told me what I need to do to get the money to do it. Also I already basically have one sponser for it The problem is they aren't completly sure they want me to go... how would I convince them to let me go??? ... I would also have to talk to my dad and tell him that I wasn't going to be going to his house next summer if I was able to go.

and this is my letter :/ please please make suggestions because I am stuck!!! Dear , I, Courtney West, am a freshman in high school who has been given a huge oppurtunity to represent central Texas on a twenty day trip to six European countries with a program called People to People International, a student ambassador program that will open up my eyes to the world, and set me apart on college applications. The problem is that I come from a low income family and can not afford to go on this once in a life time adventure without help.

It's good but try and add another paragraph describing a few things you want to get out of the trip.

I know :/ I got stuck after the whole I need help part because i feel rude saying donations are accpted but I will definatly do that
