I can't stand the pain My battles have been in vain I am no longer sain Is there an ounce of sanity I can no longer stand humanity And all its depressing vanity I hate the way things have become Nothing can ever be won We even synthesise the sun What happened to the world I knew What can I really do After everything I've been through I no longer know the world around No longer do true friends surround My life and soul have hit the ground So many voices in my head I scream and wish I was dead But I battle on instead What is the point in life It seems and endless strife Where is my eternal knife
