I couldn't see your face You were looking out the window Cheek pressed against the glass Searching for meaning in the grey clouds I reached out my gloved hand Held onto your palms and your hopes Taking a drag off of my cigarette And I can almost imagine The taste of menthol and smoke Scenery passes us, we don't notice Too enveloped in this moment We could go anywhere And no one would worry I miss losing control
