A friend of mine has always told me she doesnt like it when i cut myself. And so recently another friend of mine (also my ex) told me his sister saw the cuts on his arms and told his parents and now he has to see a counselor! :P he told me that he was gonna stop because he didnt wanna get caught again. So when my other friend heard this she pulled us aside and said she hates it when we cut ourselves and it hurts her when she sees them on our arms and wrists and such, so she told us that she would quit smoking weed if we quit with the cutting. It was hard but i promised her i wouldnt. But i'm scared i might do it again! What can i do if i get a sudden urge to just wanna cut again?!

I resolved to writing stories and letting my feelings out through them, they would get kinda graphic and gory though lol, i dont know if that would help you, but it sure did help me.

im probably gonna sound like douche saying this..but it sounds like your not really ready to quit..so maybe just cut in a different spot that she wont see..im not sayin you should cut yourself but it doesnt seem your ready to stop..but if you do think your ready just fight the urge..i quit cold turkey back on september 28th and it is hard but when i get the urge i talk to somebody or distract myself or if i get it in school i just ignore it the best i can..you really just have to find out what works for you..

I understand both you and your friend. My best suggestion is that you two is fully honest with each-other. Once I had a friend who knew 'bout me doing self-harm. She told me that she would always be there for me. So every time when I came in a situation I normally would solve my hurting myself I started to either go out running, write stories or call her ^^

If you really really feel the urge to cut, one thing that helped me was holding an ice cube against my wrist. If you're angry it screaming also helps, just scream as loud as you can =)

^ tghe ice cubes work ive done that plenty of times but also using a red marker pressing hard on your skin tricks the mind thinking you have actually cut but you havent.
