You’re just perfect the way you are, You make me smile when the skies are grey And laugh when times seem dull You’re there and that’s what counts, Even if nothing else does. You think you’re disgusting, horrible, ugly? I must beg you to look again - It’s simply because the dregs of society Can’t handle how magnificently amazing you are And how beautiful and smart and glowing. You’re a little star in a dark world, You’re but embers at the current moment Smothered by the oppression of others.
