I have been like really inactive lately lolx . Trying to change that ! So my latest poem, which I feel like could be better but oh well . Enjoy . We wear the same clothes We love the same music My friends all think we'd be good together They push and stress we need to talk They believe talking will lead to more I'll admit I think it could But what makes you different ? What makes you different from all the others who say "I Care" ? Why should I believe anything you say about me being 'safe' ? Why should I trust you ? Even if I want to Why would you be different ? Even if I hope and pray you really are I'll get hurt I always get hurt I want to let myself fall for you I believe we could be great together But what makes you different ? What's stopping you from taking what you want, And then tossing me aside ? Then why are you the first thing I think of when I wake up, And the last when I drift to sleep ? Why do I smile when I see you, or think about you ? Or when I hear your name in any one's conversation ? I don't want to be hurt again But I also don't want to believe you'll hurt me But I know you will I always get hurt What makes you different ? Nothing . Nothing at all . So I'll try to forget you Try to think of other things when I wake up and fall asleep Because your just the same
