Sorry to say but no, suicide equals a one way ticket to hell... Although like she says below about going to purgatory, that I think, god should have made the punishment, although its not just a punishment, just a spot confused thinkers of death go to finally be determined where they shall go or determine if their ready to die.

Well, if one believes in the afterlife and God, one would assume that suicide is self-murder, which is a sin punishable by said Hell, though I'm not sure what you described is the actual punishment recieved. And I'm not sure if everyone who commits suicide is to go to Hell either... Perhaps purgatory. HOWEVER: The person is not flawed because of God or 'that is how God made them.' We make our own choices, God gives you the choice to end your life or not. There is no preset path in life. There is something called 'the gift of free will.' God doesn't give you more than you can handle. People should preservere through life's struggles, even if it can be really hard. Some have it harder than others. It is a test of weakness and faith, I guess. Because there is a saying: Whatever is dealt to you, you will be rewarded ten fold. There's a story in the bible where a man loses EVERYTHING, but he gains it all back for preservering through it, and then some. He was rich, lost it all, and when he got money again he was ten times richer. Anyway, that's what I've been taught about suicide and Hell. [EDIT:] The place for the lost and such is called purgatory, to be more clear... ...Not that I'm 100% right of course, this is all just interpretation and guessing. It's not like I actually KNOW what happens to you, because I've...Well, I've obviously never been dead -in this life?- yet. And Hell is not just a Christian thing, either. This post is just a liberal Roman Catholic's idea.

just to throw a spanner in the works what happens to those in a collective suicide? like most of the western world is heading for if we dont do something about our lying cheating politicians and take back control of our world. Lest face it, it doesn't matter what happens when you die. Cuz you'll be dead. And dead people don't tend to care whether they get thrown into rivers of boiling blood or shredded or made to watch back to back episodes of Eastenders. Cuz they're already dead.

Well not that I believe in Heaven or Hell but I don't think you should be sent to hell for committing suicide, it's your chioce to live or die... I plan on dying before I get all old and wrinkly because I have a fear of getting old... is that wrong, no But, I believe in Reincarnation and summerland soo I don't think my opinion of Christianity means too much
