I know that nearly everyone has had to deal with jealousy at some point in their life and it really sucks. But what sucks more is when that jealousy turns into something petty and people who start rumors end up looking pathetic. Yes jealousy hurts and I know I've felt it before. But trying to make someone's life difficult or just annoying them by saying untrue things or twisting things is NOT the best way to resolve things. What I want to know is your views on jealousy and normally what sort of things you would do if you was jealous. Be completely honest, i know some people can be bitchy when things like jealousy are involved. Especially if its about guys/girls. Feel free to tell about stories you know involving you or a friend x

I shall start this... Everyone gets jealous to some extent and there is nothing really wrong with that. However when people make up stories and stuff it just makes them the loser in the situation. Your best bet is to rise above any jealousy no matter how hard that may be.

Well my best friend Adam (who I love to death) dated for about a week in the summer and we were supposed to get back together at the beginning of the school year last year. However instead he told me that he liked this girl named Elsa (and I almost died inside) but instead of telling him how I felt I tried to help him get together, and when she turned him down she continued to chase her, I told him that I didn't see why he chose to chase someone when there was obviously someone that liked him right under his nose, he told me that he loved it when I got jelous and stopped chasing... then he went for my "mentor" (she keeps me out of trouble and keeps me from doing stupid shit) and when they broke up she was HEARTBROKEN but I was expecting us to get back together then, and then he asked out my best friend to home coming, he turned her down, and so my other best friend told me that she really liked him, and so I hooked them up on halloween, they broke up shortly after that.... I could go on and on with this kid about how jelous he makes me, but I think you get the point....

Matt i completely agree with what you said, they do make themselves the losers as the person there jealous towards will resent them for the rumors x Nikki sometimes people purposefully make you jealous and the way you handled it is good. Instead of having shouting or causing a fight you try and help him, thats a really cool and unselfish thing to do. something most people dont do x

Also jealously in relationships is usually a sign it's not gonna last the distance. It'll just get worse. Just my thoughts anyway from experience..

LOL^ yeah, I got to agree with that one Matt. and I ussually try to do as much as I can to help anybody out, all though their are tons of times that I've pulled my hair out and fought with him over jealousy... my bro (who is his best friend) says that no matter what, I'm still pretty obvious but oh well

Yeah you might be right there Matt, jealousy tends to ruin things. Besides sometimes ending a relationship works out for the best if you find someone who's more like yourself x

Jealousy in a relationship means that there's no trust. And a relationship without trust is just...awful for everyone! LOL. Jealousy is what people have who are insecure about themselves. Eventually though, you learn to focus on what you have rather than what someone else has <3
