Your black hair stands out against your pale skin. Beneath those tight, dark clothes, you're terribly thin. Emerald green eyes sparkle with anxiety. The result of an ignorant, judgmental society. The idiots call you a 'fag' because they're all a bunch of no-life homophobes. They don't care about you. They don't care enough to know. That you've just found love. A very special girl. She understands you, she listens, and she brightens your shadowed world. You're still the 'Emo' kid, with the black nails and Chuck Taylors, dragging through the hallways everyday. But now you hold your head high, a small smirk on your face. You're in love! And now your pale skin glows. Because when you're happy, somehow it shows. The bullies will still hate you. Perhaps they always will. But you'll shrug it off, laugh and deal with the rejection. To everyone else, you'll never be normal. But to me, you'll always be my perfect imperfection <33
