What is the difference (if there is one) between a therapist, phychaiatrist, social worker, and etc? I'm wondering.

The difference is that a therapist uses a technique called "free association" which is basically laying on a couch and telling them your problems to help them better understand your feelings. A Psychiatrist is the only person who can prescribe medication...and is a medical doctor who holds a medical degree. A social worker one the other hand, works in a community mental health center and helps clients providing them with services. Hope this helped.
