I cant really help personaly with The boyfriend thing, seeing im like nearly 18, But seriously, having a boyfriend at your age could just end up being more pain than its worth, Im not trying to disscourage ur from goin out with some1 but just think about it before u get into it! A relationship is a big thing to get into, dont let peer presure or anything influence u. Ur still only young, relax he'll come around when the time is right ;), (and seriously stuff the Jocks all there good for is ramming there heads into the wall :P)

e.e Truthfully, It's only fun to have a boyfriend if they meet your likings.. Even if they AREN'T emo they can still be cute and if they like you then they'll be nice. Trust me. Chibi isn't nice to people he doesn't like.

I agree with FlickerofHope...at your age i didn't even think about stuff like that....then when i got into High school everything changed for the worst. I got heartbroken once and sweared that i didn't need to waste my time again on something like that...its been 5 years and im happy i have made it this far....alone :) you don't need a boyfriend to be happy....you need to be happy with yourself first in order to be happy with someone else second ^_^

You're so young! It shouldn't be that big of a concern. It certaintly wasn't for me at your age. You have a lot of time to sort out who you are and what your looking for in a boyfriend. And you can't force yourself to like someone just because you want a boyfriend. They aren't accesories. If no one catches your eye, then no one does. Keep looking and talking to different types of guys. I'm 17 and single. I've only had one boyfriend, but I'm okay with my track record; because I actually cared for him and didn't go out because everyone else had a bf. I know it sucks being alone, trust me, I'm living with that feeling right now, but honestly it isn't that important. You'll find someone when you do, it's that simple. Don't rush into things!

since everyone else is sharing their stories of relationships ill share mine, cause it could help a little bit :) From years 5-7 I had 6 girl friends. But you know what I was only really happy with one of them! Then that one person I truly cared about broke my heart completly, at the time it felt like my world came crumbling down at 11 years old, i lost my friends, my love, my fun side of life! Now while I was hurt I dont regret it cause its made me who I am, BUT it also showed me how foolish I was for getting into a relationship when that true element of love was only starting to develop in my mind. I gave in to the peer presure of my friends and it only cause me pain and it still does today. but its dead true, U dont need to be in a relationship to be happy. even though I still get deppressed about being alone from time to time, ive always stayed true to myself and pushed on with life because deep down I know one day I will find someone. So the moral of the story is that there is not point in having a relationship at a young age because u still havnt fully grasped the idea of what I truly means to fall in love with someone, and to dedicate ur life to being happy with that person, hense the fact that when people get married they say "together forever" personaly that saying is thrown around so lightly these days. :) so seriously before you go getting into a relationship just think CAREFULLY on what it means to be together forever! it is a seriously big thing :)

you don't need someone who's 'emo' to go out with them and i'm quite sure that not eeryone there are jerks, etc. Besides you don't need a boyfriend to be happy and he'll come eventually just enjoy yourself as at the moment you only need to focus on yourself, which is the biggest positive on being single XD :)

im in year 7 too and I am in the same situation. And I think your going to have trouble in the emo boyfriend department as guys don't really turn emo until they are about 14 at the least because this is the time that you will find some of the guys stop being jerks because they have matured, but try to be-friend some of the shy-nice guys at your school a lot of the time they can have a emo personality but just don't classify themselves as "emo".
