The darkness surrounds a wounded heart, The night never seeming to end, Her mind is too far gone now, She wishes she was dead, But somewhere in the darkness a voice cries out, A frantic and frightened shout, Don't give up dear, There still is hope, Don't live in fear, You don't have to cope, With all this pain, And all this fear, But I promise you, It will get better my dear.
