Your first time! Nov 20 2013, 03:32 PM
Ok I'm going to steer clear of the term 'loosing your virginity' because I believe you don't lose anything the first time you have sex and that term usually applies to penis in vagina kinda sex and that just doesn't apply to everyone... But that's a whole other conversation. :P Sooo. Your first time eh? :P My main point of advice when thinking about doing anything sexual for the first time... don't do ANYTHING your not comfortable with. Don't let your partner force you into anything your are not comfortable with, that includes if your not even ready yet. Talk about it and make sure you are both totally comfortable with what your doing! Pleasee wait until your 100% ready! Secondly, protection. It's important 1. Because STDs are not fun and 2. If you are participating in p in v kinda sex and don't want children right now you wanna prevent that. There are obviously many different types of protection but I think we should make another topic on that because there is a lot to talk about there. Also if you know you partner has had other sexual experiences don't be afraid to ask them to get tested for STDs, and get yourself tested regularly, it's quite important as they can lead to a lot of problems if they go untreated! Lastly I just want to say your first time probably won't be that great, it could be quite awkward until you figure out what you like, but talk to your partner and figure out what you both like and I'm sure it will get better. Don't let one experience put you off, sex is really a great thing to experience with your partner. :) So please share you advice, experiences anything, but please pleaseee keep it helpful, I'd very much like this topic to be seen by younger users as a means of education so keep that in mind! Also any questions I'll be happy to answer I'm quite passionate about educating people about this sorta stuff!

This is useful. Thanks for sharing and yes a topic on the different types of protection would also be great :)
