Motley Crue announce farewell tour Jan 28 2014, 04:57 PM
So today after hinting through most of 2013 at a farewell tour and then retirement Mötley Crüe have announced it... After 33yrs (or so) as undoubtedly one of the most influential bands in rock/metal music to date, they have announced during a press conference that they will be doing a worldwide farewell tour and then retiring. The tour has been speculated to last upto 2yrs and with that be accompanied by a DVD and new album. For more information on the tour and updates on the announcement, go to the official site: http://www.motley.com/motley-crue-announces-final-tour/ Crue were one of the few Rock n' roll bands i was brought up listening to as child and probably what got me into to the whole alternative side of things,so personally i'm sad to see them spilt but as Nikki Sixx said on twitter " All bad things have to come to a end" and in October 2013 after someone asked him if he'd be sad if the band split, he responded "No, I'd be sad if we were playing half-full theatres and only two band members were in the band. we will go out with a bang and make our fans proud" so for those who like myself are a fans of Crue here are some of their greatest songs for you to enjoy :)
