I really like this girl, but..... advice appreciated Feb 19 2014, 06:25 PM
SO, I am like head over heels in love with this girl in my grade. Seriously, I was straight, when I met her I realized I was Bi. I love her so much she made me turn, and I really don't know how to tell her this. One of her friends, my BFF knows, and she promised she would never tell. She thinks kinda badly of her, that she does all this stuff to get attention, and said she was Bi just so she could get attention, and I kind of believe her, but I really hope that was the truth because if she was Bi and there was a chance to date her I would be thrilled. First off, is there any way I can kinda see if this is the truth, and is there any way I can tell her that won't make things awkward *Note that we are no more than acquaintances, not BFFs, and I am like the shyest girl in the history of the planet.

Well...my sister had that same experience your describing sweetie. She had the biggest crush on her best friend but she would always accidentally look at her boobs instead of her eyes, (thiis was before she came out in the open about being bi) and she said that she could just tell her friend was the same way because they had long convos about how they did not like dating or guys yet they would talk about the privates of male fertility gods from Africa or something. So its like...if she's super over obsessed with guys for her age but doesn't pursue them more than normal..then she's totally bi or gay. Otherwise she could be doing it for attention but you know we have gay-Dar as my manslave and I call it we can spot one of our own a mile away :) its a gut feeling kind of thing. But as for talking to her...hm I'd say just say hey to her and then just explain your super shy but youd like to sit with her at lunch or something. Go from there. I'm super shy myself so I know how hardit is sometimes but like just remind yourself that you can do this and yyou'll feel better once you talk to her and remind yourself you're fucking amazing for who you are not what you appear to be and anyone who says otherwise is lame. I wish you the best of luck sweetie I know you can do it :)

Oh also remind yourself that nobody is going to harm you and don't look at her eyes until your comfortable. Its an instinctive thing when humans were still evolving the last things they'd see before dying would be the eyes of a predator at times. That's why we get so nervous. The eyes are the trigger were just more in tune with it than people who aren't shy. Hope this helps :)
