So I wrote this poem yesterday when I was literally in this situation and it really does give you the worst feeling imaginable, I want to be best friends with this person but because her and my friends took it the wrong way I now feel awkward to hug her or to talk to her because of what her friends said You know when its happening, You get that wierd sensation in your head, Like its not real, what your seeing, Its almost like your dead, You feel as though your dying Well I suppose you don'tfeel anything, But you know its there deep down, And it won't shake from your mind. You sit alone that day As alone as can possibly be true, You don't feel anything anymore, Its just a huge big blur, Your eyes go blind, You lose all senses, Your stomach starved, Your arms all scarred, This is when you know your alone, When your left glancing at your friends, Knowing not to step foot anywhere near. When you stoop so low, As to stare over a bench at your friends, Through pure embarrassment and upset, You feel different, almost ashamed, But you know its not your fault, Its those peoples, And your friends know it too, But you feel bad. You long for 'that one' to be your friend, But they are laughing together, You know they aren't really your friend, But you pretend anyway for the hope, The hope that someday they will atleast notice you, When they come and sit next to you, Singing while you are sat there thinking, Thinking about just wanting to be their friend, But they don't even think, You want nothing but to be their friend, But you know that day will never come. This is the feeling of longing, Longing for a friendship off 'that' person, Just friendship, So you can stop feeling alone, But people take that the wrong way, They turn the longing of friendship into something its not, They turn it round, Cause that one chance of friensdship, To turn into nothing, Because that's what they do. You want to have that on special friend, But that doesn't help the way people, Turn it, twist it or even percieve it.
