Alt-fest is confirmed CANCELLED Aug 01 2014, 06:27 PM
After several weeks of speculation,rumours and what not the official Alt- fest page have released this lengthy statement on facebook announcing the Cancellation of festival and how to get refunds if you held tickets. they also posted a shorter one on the official site... click the links below for more info : Alt fest's fb statement Official festival site's statement So what are your thoughts on this news and were you planning/going to Alt-fest ?

This is disappointing for everyone involved and the alternative scene in general. There are lots of other festivals though and that is part of the problem - they have more power, reputation and money as established festivals.
