Au clair de la lune: under light of moon. Au clair de la lune, is where we’ll be together soon Au clair de la lune, is where I look upon the northern star Knowing that I will love you, where ever you are. So I’ll ask of the moon, to shine her light on your face. So I know we’ll be seeing the same thing just from a different place. And will you think of me from that far away land? Because I wish you were here so you could hold my hand. Because when I’m alone, under the light of the moon. I will count down the days. Please answer my prays. And come back to me soon. Because please, I never needed a hero dad. All I needed was a shoulder where I could rest my weary head. And I know you’re a soldier, it’d what you’ve always shown. But not even a soldier can do all this alone So just come home, so we can deal with this hell. Please dad I lost my mom I just cannot lose you as well. So dad come home, I need you more that the war you know And we’ll lay here together under the moon her glow.
