Five year's ago i started my life all over. You picked me from the ground like i was a lucky clover. But i feel like i'm holding you back from the beauty of life Like i'm slowly cutting it to pieces like my words have the sharpness of a knife. When we go to meet you're friends i feel like i'm the shadow in the background. while they are talking and joking i'm drowning in the sound. I can't focus on what they say when all that pops into my mind is you're beautiful smile and wondering if you still think i'm worthwhile You can throw me away if you wan't, i have never been deserving of the most beautiful love. I would never be mad at you if you decide i'm the one you need to get rid of. I would understand, i guess i could cope. when the last thing i see is you're smile before i hang the rope And i hope there is life after this i still got a little bit of hope But hope is not enough.
