My "Happy" Ending Feb 22 2015, 04:51 AM

Liquid fire, It burns the back of my throat raw. The bitter taste lingers on my tongue, It's hard and hurts to swallow, My sorry pleas, and the liquid fire... My friends, They're not like you nor I. Although it hurts when they help me, Splitting my flesh, makes me feel better, Unlike you, they listen, they're my friends... Deep breaths, Before I take my final leap. Falling for no longer than a single second, Before being caught by a tight embrace, Oxygen is drained from your lungs, no more deep breaths... I'm home, Oh, Home sweet home. I finally feel like I actually belong, As another lone shadow living unnoticed in the darkness, Now I know, here's where I belong, I'm home...
