Should we let age gaps get in the way of relationships? Surely, we love whoever we fall in love with; No matter age, looks, personality etc etc. Opinions? 😶

Yes and no,as you get older age matters less,but I assure you the differences in life and goals of a 16 year old even compared to an 18 year old can be significant. Although age doesn't have everything to do with maturity,there are people in their 20's who can be less mature than a 17 year old and vice versa. It all depends on the person really. But when it comes to dating, in the situation of a person who is an adult or close to an adult dating someone who is legally a teenager, if it's more than a year's difference I'd be cautious.

Numbers are just a label that help us humans to understand certain things for example counting, if numbers never existed will probably use something else to identify age, our population and math maybe will probably use letters.

It all depends how much you really love the person & if your really ready for certain commitment like,say, marriage when you or that one person are older if the relationship doesnt go to total shit. I know this from experience right now and from earlier relationships that did go to shit, via the person lost interest or communication was kept to a minimum for some reason. As of right now, my bf is (i believe) 5 yrs older then me but that doesnt mean that i have to be cautious due to us having good communication and are giving eachother our all c: I hope this helped. But to me,age is just something that people are afraid to get past once their in a relationship/seeing someone. Love is love no matter the age, gender, sexuality, etc.

i guess we shouldn't let age gaps interfere, but age isn't just a number - there's a significant difference in how people think & act in different (st)ages of their lives.

I know people my age dating 18/19 year olds. I have a 14 year old cousin, who has a nearly 2 year old baby with her 18 year old boy friend. It annoys me that my parents won't let me date anyone more than a year older than me. Yet my mother was my age once, dating someone 15 years older than her .-. I just don't get it

If you are both leagal or both underage yes but no if someone's 14 and dating a 20 year old cuz that's illegal

Personally, age gaps are usually an issue. I like a 20 yr. old. But, I would never even think about going near him at least until I'm legal. I'm just gonna be barely friends. That's safe.
