Less popular than it use to be 5+ years ago, but certainly not dead yet.

I feel like it's definitely declining in popularity, I was lucky enough to meet any other emo ppl irl at all, but in most places, there's not very many anymore. But I still don't think that emo culture will ever truly die out, it's the epitome of being a teenager and there will always be teenagers, so there's bound to be at least a few emos emerging with every generation of teens.

I can agree to this, 10 years ago emo was thriving, I only wish I wasn't bullied by other emo's in the school lol.

Yeah I think its becoming less popular in my area too, especially with people my age, still see a few younger folk going about tho. Must admit I've sort of grown away from it too, but I still love an "alternative" style and I don't think I'll ever stop listening to the music. :)

Not dead but yes, like the above people said, much more widespread around a decade ago. However, the fashion is still here.
