what often burns the brightest will flicker and die first leaving only a hollow shell and memories cursed mutilated by the fragments we all leave behind from phantom wounds that divide ourselves to the hope we will never find what we were before, we seek and yearn a time when we were whole but in the unrelenting torrent of time who we were will break and burn leaving a permanent mark on our collective soul so who are we? you may ask, some say legion, others say one we are fragments of our former, ghosts bound to single vessel and soon we too shall fade to none. hence the heavy burden of life, to which we once promised on a whisper to retain will sooner or later falter and fail and the echo of eternal silence remain
