Hello Dec 13 2025, 05:23 PM

Hello everyone,

My name is Antigone, and I am a 33-year-old girl from Greece. I am not an emo girl and have never been, even though I've listened to "emo" music for almost 20 years. I spend most of my time closed in my room, and currently I have nothing to do but listen to my favourite music. I suffer from depression and anxiety, and also have a physical disability - that's why I have been staying inside my house for literally ages. I mostly listen to metal music, and I can confidently call myself a "metalhead", but emo music always takes me back to the high school years and my best friend.

I would be pleased to learn about you. Feel free to share any thoughts/emotions you keep inside...

Some favourite bands:

A.F.I.

Alesana

Billy Talent

Bullet for my Valentine

Jimmy Eat World

Fall Out Boy

From First to Last

Funeral for a Friend

My Chemical Romance

Panic! At the Disco

Taking Back Sunday

Three Days Grace

I know, many of these bands are not even emo, but some sounded a lot in the middle of the 2000s.

I wait for your suggestions. :)
