Hi! My name is Alfie! At 33 years old, I am what you'd consider an Elder Emo!
I used to visit this site a lot quite a few years back and at the moment im going through a difficult time, after a few moments of weakness, making some bad decisions and resorting to some old destructive and harmful habits, I have put myself into therapy and also thought I would sign up here again just to try and make some new friends!
I am a musician, guitarist, singer and screamer, I play in a covers band around Essex and I also appear on EmoFest in the UK, every now and then when the band needs a stand-in! I also have an acoustic project called BrokenHeart Ed where I play Emo anthems in the live looping style of Ed Sheeran. Music really is my life apart from my 2 beautiful children! I also love gaming in my spare time (the little of it that I have)

Pop Punk and Metalcore are my go-tos but I do generally enjoy a wide range of genres.
Lately I've been listening to
Memphis May Fire, Polaris, ADTR, Red, Blessthefall, Linkin Park and Ice Nine Kills
I could go on forever listing all the bands that I like though, so if you want to talk bands... hmu
Books - I love fantasy for the most part, The Hobbit, LOTR, World of Warcraft, Harry Potter, Eragon etc... also enjoying rhe Supernatural books.
Films - i gravitate towards comedy mainly, but watch most genres.
TV shows - my favourites include Game of Thrones, Supernatural, Cobra Kai, The Big Bang Theory, Sons of Anarchy, South Park and Family Guy... probably loads more that I cant remember off the top of my head!
I graduated in 2018 and hold a Bachelors Degree in Music Performance and Technology
I am currently a fully self-employed musician - living the dream 🤘
