Hi, my name is Laura. I got into emo culture in 2011. My first band was Escape the Fate and then I found Black Veil Brides and got hooked. Being in the emo community and BVB army has helped me when I was at my worst. For a while I tried being goth instead but it wasn't working for me so I went back. I realized I never really stopped being emo as much as I had thought. I've always had an interest in alternative culture as a young child. Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and I always watched Tim Burton movies. When I was 10 or 11 years old, I can't remember, I would spend my 3rd grade drawing and doodling Tim Burton characters. Ever since I've been drawing more and more and soon I want to look for a job being a tattoo artist.

I completed all 12 years of school and went to college for two years. I went to college for Graphic Design but I didn't like it as much as I did in my high school. I looked at my assignments in an artistic way more than designer way. It felt restricting. I'm not working right now, but I'm trying to put my artwork out there. I'm working on getting my drivers license so I can expand my career options outside the small town I'm living in. My goal is to be a tattoo artist but if that doesn't work out I want to work for Hot Topic.
I'd love to meet Black Veil Brides and tell them how they've made a positive impact on my life. I got to see them 4 times live. The first two was at in person concerts and the other two were live stream concerts.
I'd like to talk to All Time Low again. When they came to Maine for a concert/festival in 2016 or 17, they did a fan signing a day before the show at a local music store. I got to say hi to them and I remember Jack said something to me like, "How are you? Are you having fun? Today's an amazing day." I was so happy to meet them.
