Hey!

 Profiles are a total pain in the ass to write...I'm pretty much a friendly down to earth girl, I'm honest and upfront and expect people to be the same with me.  Am kinda a geeky chick, really into my Comics and Graphic novels, LOVE my video games and gadgets...Am someone who is really chatty and loves to have random conversations about anything and everything :) i'm more of a girl next door type than a glam chick.. have a deep interest in the paranormal too, so far have gone on a couple of interesting all night ghost hunts which have been tons of fun and I love writing short stories when I get the time to...anyway if you want to chat or talk to me, please feel free to get in touch, I really don't bite...well not much ;)

Favourite Music

At heart I'm an old school grunge chick, but I love any kind of alt rock/metal/grunge/goth/ and emo , I guess my old school stuff I love would have to be Nirvana, Incubus, Hole, Rage Against the Machine,  Babes in Toyland, L7, Pearl Jam Offspring, GreenDay,  Machine Head,Pantera, Marilyn Manson ,stuff like that...but I've got so many different albums from different bands I reallly can't name them all here... newer stuff i love includes stufflike Fall Out Boy, 30 Seconds to Mars,Paramore, The Birthday Massacre etc

Favourite Films / TV / Books

I love my sci fi and Fantasy type tv shows..Joss Whedon is a genius, my all time favourite show that I adore is Buffy The Vampire Slayer, grew up with it and the storylines are just amazingg.  I love Angel, Firefly, Supernatural, The 4400, Lost and Heroes and am currently really loving Smallville :)   Fave films well they include The Crow, anything old by John Hughes i.e Breakfast Club, Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, WEird Science ...I love Star Wars (the older trilogy not the new ones) .  I love horror movies and Ive recently gotten into watching the Studio Ghibli movies too..also a fan of Japanese/Chinese live action martial arts related movies. My favourite books include Wuthering Heights.  Jane Eyre and Tess of the D'urbervilles...they are all time classics.  I read a lot of Graphic Novels,in particular anything by Brian K Vaughn, i.e Runaways or Y:The Last Man.  I like my DC comics too, really into my Supergirl stuff...and am attempting to read Ultimate Xmen :) Another cool book I like is A Guide to Recognising Your Saints... ohhh and yes I do also love the Twilight series... :)

Education / Occupation

I'm currently a Registered Nurse working in a small Outpatients department in a private hospital.

Joss Whedon,  George Lucas, Natalie Portman, Tom Welling, Jared Leto,  Alison Mack, Sarah Michelle Gellar...this list could go on...

Seeing as the chances of meeting any of the above are pretty slimmm hehe I'd like to meet anyone into any of the same or similar interests to me...someone who is open minded and non judgmental...someone who marches to the beat of their own drum rather than follow the crowd..oh and someone who can make me laugh..a good sense of humour is really important to me as well as a person who isn't fraid to show their emotions and feelings and just be honest about stuff :)
