Left 4 Dead school project - 2010-02-07 20:12:57

Ok I just uploaded the last piece of my Left 4 dead project from school to youtube. It's for Intro to Theatre and what we had to do is take a story and basically turn it into a greek tragedy. So it had to have a chorus and my teacher had us all wear masks. Sadly all violence had to be cut out as well -_- For those who don't know what Left 4 Dead is, it's an awsome first person shooter zombie game where 4 survivors have to go through some sort of town to get to the rescue site. Anyways I chose this and wrote the script, played the part for the hunter, as well as filmed and directed it. So if its not too much trouble, do you think you guys can watch and let me know your feedback? Thanks^^ |

Local time: 08-02-2010 12:27 haha very cool, very entertaining =D left 4 dead is an awesome game u will now get sum critique from a higher film studies student spec in cinematography XP u have some excellent shots throughout ur film and some of the sound was well put together however (imma try not to sound like a dick now :P) i know its not a super serious film but u must use a tripod or some sort of stand. there were some rly good cuts but sometimes during the dialogue u need to have more cuts from different angles and also for the sound a little tip is you put another layer of ambiance over the whole film so the sound doesnt jump when you cut. but all in all a pretty good film, well directed and put together, great job :) |

And just letting you know I kinda wasn't making the vid for the seriousness, kinda got thrown together and we shot it all in one day because our teacher only gave us a couple days to do it. And we DID use a tripod thank you very much XD ... but there were some scenes close to the ground where I had to hold the camera and yah... Amature work I know, but hey it was my first vid cut me some slack =P I don't know if I'll make another one, depends on what my teacher has us do. But compared to the other videos the other teams did, ours was box office material compared to them. Haha theirs kinda made me sick from how bad the camera was shaking throughout the thing. Anywayss thanks for the input^^ |
