How long have you been emo? May 25 2008, 11:00 AM

Just interested in this... I have been into the emo scene since 2003. Pretty tough to say when you turned "emo" I guess so you can say when you became "alternative".. This is all very stereotypical I know, but that's how society is.

I turned to like hardcore in my 9/10th year, which is 2/3 years ago, and I turned to emo hardcore last year. So one can say that I turned emo last year ^^ in 2007..

I've been emoish for 4 inches worth of hair now. I drifted away and things happend in my life and old memorys came back to haunt me :( so here I am. :D

xXeMoRaCeRXx sort off and they just didnt seem to understand my way of thinking and the way i delt with things... i turn pretty hard into depresion and they didnt really seem to care and called me a freak so i found people who did... thats why basically

sort of like a year and a bit i think...all the people i hang around with are complete chavs so its a bit weird because i cant talk to them about anything and the....three (i think) emo friends i have i hardly ever see so it really sucks

it does really suck when your friends are into diff things than you as it makes you feel like the outcast :( guess its just something you have to put up with and HOPE you can work around it
