Nobody is going to commit suicide on 31st May at the Protest...obviously!! May 30 2008, 01:40 PM
I know this is pretty obvious to most of us, but many fake YouTube videos and comments have been published by MCR / Emo haters that say there will be a mass suicide. It's rubbish! There will simply be a peaceful protest at Marble Arch, London, United Kingdom. Also I'd like to clear up that this is not just a MCR protest, but the slating of the emo scene in general by the The Daily Mail, etc.

oh dear doesnt suprise me people have said that! nar im guesin it will be jst tones of emos sat around playing on their psp and checking myspace on their phone :D lol what we gona do all day matt while we're there? :P xxx

What the fuck?? Yea me and Vic went and were there on and off all day supporting the emo scene and soEmo.co.uk. We have a load of pics and some videos, which will be online ASAP.

I've heard different reports... somewhere between 100 and 300. I wish I could've gone :S Still, had fun in Horsham with Tantan and Lynnie :P

Depends on the time you were there as this was an all-day thing. On average I'd say 150. I'll do a write-up later with pics, etc for everyone.

yeh 100/150 odd when we were there but depends on time really... alot of reports there with camera tho, ooo matt wounder if we're in any papers or magazines? :D lol xxx

Sweet.. Can't wait to see the write-up Matt. I'd like to know if you thought this day actually accomplished anything - I expected more than 150 people to be there after it was on the BBC News and everything. Wish I could have come along!

Yea I read it at yours and it's good because they interview people and get their opinions BUT Kerrang bearly discuss the actual issue themselves.

Yep fuck them all. Some haters come onto my site and add pathetic comments. What's the point if they're not interested in the 'emo scene'. They need to find something better to do with their time.
