which is better? does it depend on the style of music? for example could a guy singer pull off evanscene/nightwish/within temptation styles of music and could a girl pull off screamo style music?? or doesnt it matter either way and just depend on the band?

Males! Not to get them all ego-d up but it's true! Males ARE the best singers. Sure it can be the style of music but meh, there are a whole lot more male-fronted bands then there are woman's soooooooooo.... :P

ive always prefered a males voice as lead singer but i quite like girls too, depends what mood im in, i went off girl singers for a while but geting back into them, paramore are growing on me quite a bit, be interesting to hear a girl screamo band tho, anyone know any?

A female screamo band could be awesome. Anyone that's heard Lacey Mosley's screams at the start of I'm So Sick knows that's true. :]

i think it really depends on the type of voice they have and the type of style the put it into...like theres no good doing screamo if your voice cant take it so it all depends on the music if a female or male sounds better

i have not heard so much female singers yet.. but i think that they could be as emotional as the male singers are..

I think women are better and meaningful songs but men are better for anger and loud songs :D I dont know any all female bands :S
