When someone asks you to name an emo band or song, what is the first thing that comes to your mind? Oh and I don't mind if you say MCR :D

Hawthorne  Heights is the first band that comes to my mind.. and i start rambling songs ":Dissolve and Decay" "This is Who We Are"

Hmm ,jimmy eat world, love those guys although they aren't the first thing that comes to mind.. but  greats like "Closer" "Hear you Hear me"  come to mind when i think about the band and i cannot forget "Pain"..

Jimmy Eat World are pretty defining for the later emo.
But we can't forget the early days either!

Glad someone agrees with me and yes I know about the early emo bands. This site gets slack for ignoring them, but things change and they are actually mentioned on Emo Music. The emo of today has evolved and some people hate it, some love it...

The Get Up Kids - Mass Pike, for me. A band that I don't feel get the massive amount of respect that they rightly deserve.

^ I love the song "You're not alone" by Saosin Cant forget All-American Rejects :D they rock! i mean like their albums cover a sequence of feelings in relationships, first love, being cheated, heart break, moving on, looking down on then person.. its like wow
