What does "seeing someone" mean? Committed relationship or early stages of dating? How serious is it?

seeing someone means going out, it can be the late or early stages of a relationship, its not actually a "stage" of a relationship but tells you that they are going out with someone.

It's a pretty confusing term, but in general I'd say it's used more towards the early stages. Why you ask?

I heard from a friend that the guy I like said he's seeing someone. I don't know the context of their conversation and he doesn't know that I've heard it. He was open to going out so I was wondering if he saw it as something romantic or was being friendly. Any idea?

Seeing someone to me means just to hang out with the person and just be with them You get to know them. That never means commitment.

tbh it just the same as in a relashionship but in a relashionship is more serious. seeing someone just meens like dateing.
