The Apathetic Flood If I tried to swallow the pride I’ve tried to accumulate after you disgraced me- -I would choke- Drowned by years of pain and emotional suicide, Drenched in tears of unfelt sorrow, Washed away by the fears of all those tomorrows Swamped by the tales of your return.
