Waiting in the rain, For someone to break my chains, Sitting in the dark, Maybe you will make a mark, Alone for many years, Invisible to my peers, Misery is what i saw, Violence rubbed my mind raw, My heart going at a slow rate, Will this always be my fate? thanks, i just started doing poetry in 4th grade and now i'm hooked. i had to do a poem project for 5th grade, they were so dark and demented my teacher asked me how things were at home lol.
