I've cut too deep before.... but it's gotten worse and I don't know what to do... Last night I cut to the point where I blacked out for 5 hours. If it wasn't for my boyfriend, I'd be dead from blood loss... I'm addicted to cutting again (I quit 3 months ago) but now it's not just a few simple cuts a day... It's deep cuts. At least once a day. I'm scared but I can't stop... My parents don't know because my dad threatened to beat the shit out of me if I started cutting again.... Help? Please...

I know how you feel, i'm a cutter aswell, i've tried to stope several times, thel ongest i've gone was 2 months. what i did to stop was i would find something i had interest in or keep myself busy to where i wouldn't think of it, and then after awhile when i finally had free time i no longer desired to cut because i went so long without it when i was busy. what got me cutting again though was usualy family problems and friend problems.

I never did anything to hurt myself, never done any drugs, or drank. Because i had art. you could always just listen to music, make music, draw, write, or paint. its really relaxing and keeps your mind busy. Without Art i think i'd be dead.

I've tried distracting myself but it doesn't work. My mind wanders back to it. I do more than just cut when it comes to SI. I turn to piercings for pain, burning, scratching, bruising my tummy and legs.... but the deep cutting is scaring me because I can't stop. My boyfriend is freaking out because he knows (and I know too) that I won't wake up one of these times...

well i guess it depends on the person and how bad you wanna stop. if you're desperate, you'll go see a doctor, do anything you can. Dont give up, and dont think you cant do it. This will be your miracle story. :]
